Discussion Groups

Also known as ‘Home Groups’, ‘Small Groups’ and ‘Fellowship Groups’, these groups are where people meet to discuss Bible topics, spiritual matters, or the Sunday sermon. It’s an opportunity to come together mid-week and grow in knowledge, prayerfulness and friendship. Currently we have the following groups:

Evening Group, Ravenstone

Every Tuesday, 7:30pm – 9:00pm
This is an informal gathering in a home where the group will read the bible, discussing questions from our previous Sunday morning service. They spend time praying and enjoying fellowship together.

Evening Group, Blackfordby

Every Tuesday, 7:30pm – 9pm
This is an informal gathering in a home where the group will read the bible, discussing questions from our previous Sunday morning service. They spend time praying and enjoying fellowship together.ssues raised by the Sunday sermon.

Inter-church Ladies Group, Ashby

Every Wednesday, 10am – 11:45am
An informal group meeting in a home each week during term time to study the Bible, pray together and enjoy fellowship.

Men’s Evening Group, Ashby

Every Wednesday, 7:30pm – 9pm
This is an informal gathering in a home where the group read the bible which is God’s Word to us. Studying it enables us to know God better and through His words we come to know not only the nature and attributes of God, but also come to understand His plan for each of us. They also spend time in prayer and enjoying fellowship together.

Every Wednesday, 8pm – 9:30pm
This is an informal gathering in a home where the group will read the bible, discussing questions from our previous Sunday morning service. They spend time praying and enjoying fellowship together.

‘Why Jesus?’ Morning Group

Every Friday, 10:30am – 12pm
Why Jesus? is a group which meets every Friday morning from 10.30am until 12 noon for bible reading and discussion to guide us in our relationship with God. Light refreshments available.


Older People

Lunch Club

Every Friday, 1pm – 3:30pm
Lunch Club meets here at the church each Friday from 1pm until 3.30pm. Everyone brings their own lunch and they eat together with friends. They have a varied programme which includes games, quizzes, films and occasional guest speakers.


Young People

Sk8ers

Every Monday during term time, 6pm to 7pm, downstairs at church.

Sk8ers is an outreach youth club to the mostly unchurched young people in our town. It is a space where young people can meet with their friends, play games, sit and chat, have a game of pool, play on the Wii computer, enjoy arts and craft, stroke Buddy the therapy dog, eat Greggs and toast, have lots of drinks of hot chocolate or juice. Besides this, they hear about God and can be prayed for. They have on average 15-20 young people attending each week from a group of about 40 young people.

Rock Solid

Every Friday during term time, 7pm to 8.30pm, downstairs at church. £2.00 per week

Rock Solid’ is a place where young people from years 7 to 9 meet to explore the discomfort and security of building a life on Jesus’ rock solid teaching.

Renew Wellbeing

Every Wednesday, 12:00 – 2:30 pm, downstairs at church
A quiet shared space ‘where it’s OK not to be OK’. This is an opportunity to share a hobby or skill, or to join in a workshop or activity. Alternatively, you can come to simply relax and chat, and enjoy the peace in our quiet area. All are welcome and no charge is made. Please bring your own lunch.

Who Let the Dad's Out?

Who Let The Dads Out

Third Saturday of the month, 10am – 12pm, back hall at church
‘Who Let The Dads Out’ meets here at the church. If you have little ones and would like to spend a couple of hours with other dads/step dads/carers or grandads and their preschoolers please come along. Enjoy a bacon butty and a cup of coffee while your little ones play.

Make Do, Mend & Create and Coffee Morning

First Saturday of the month (excluding January and August), 10 am – 12 pm
A welcoming, experienced and well-resourced team from Holy Trinity Church helps visitors with all their repair, upcycling and creative projects, while ABC serves tea and coffee.
